Mahalo Nui Loa!!!
Well, I am glad that I am showing improvement. personally, I really like many of my images where the model is looking off camera; to me it conveys a feeling of mystery and sadness that I find attractive and full of depth. No one way of seeing, as is said, but with modeling stuff it is more about the viewer than the photographer most often, nes pas?
All of your comments have been awesome. And I will work on engaging the model (a big note to self reads; 'if the model is uncomfortable it will show up on film'). Visit, comment and vote on my site anytime you;d like.

Great improvement :D My favourite is the second-to-last, with the rose:

The second set is better, but the moel from the first was much prettier. The second one's skin looks way too smart-blurred.
What are you advertising, exactly? |

second set is way better. The first set was too much NI, made her look like Wacko Jacko (plastic). Second set is a little more restrained but still heavy on the face.

If the shoot is to advertise for the guitar company, I would envision a different shoot. I am a guitar player (amature of course) and I always like to see the actual product. To that extent, I like the company logo and I would use that for the shoot. Take one of their actual guitars and have it cut in half like the logo. Have it in the foreground with the model in the background laying on her side so her curves mimic those of the guitar. The guitar would keep the model's parts covered.
Just a suggestion. I have several guitars, just no models to shoot or I would give this one a try just to see how it turned out.

I like the way you have your PBase print gallery setup for ordering prints.
Is it practical and inexpensive compared to other full service shopping cart web sites? (like SmugMug's $99/year solution)

To Stdavidson: lol, I'll let you know, if I ever get a sale through there. Problem is; PBase is a photographers site and photographers dont' often buy other photographer's prints... same problem might exist with the others (i.e. smugmug and flickr) unless of course you do your own advertising and lead folks to your site...
and on that note...ahem...

Good lawrd, this have improved tenfold since you started this thread. Excellent work. Like what I would expect to see in a well respected fashion mag. |

These are all masterful. I'm a big fan.
I especially like the one with the heart-sweet.
