Here's a silly trick you can do with cloning in Photo Shop or Photo Paint . The picture was taken with my scanner as my camera is in the shop getting cleaned. Its amazing what you can do when your bored. A little handy

That would be handy!
You raise a good point though...is a raw scan of an object considered a "digital photo?" The only real technical difference (between a scanner and digicam) is whether the pixels are recorded all at once or line-by-line.
