		| | No, this is not the thread of "Microsoft Operating systems That Never Were" ...
Here are the rest of the pics I was considering entering into the challenge. Unlike the one I put in, the rest of these were "straight" pics , ie. not photoshopped at all.

The only reason I did do such a photoshopped pic was because we've never had a free-editing challenge, we never may again, and I thought hey why not go for broke! But that doesn't represent my attitude towards all photo making.

 Comments welcomed ...

Darn! I wish all of 'em never were right now...

For a change I had quite a few alternates and outtakes this week.

		| | Really like "Would You?" and also "Building Within," the former for the theme (and a style suiting it -- but did you try B+W?), the latter for finding such cool geometry and great exposure etc... |

		| | "Rosettes and Star" has a beautiful composition and would probably have fared well as entry with a tiny amount of 'untilting' :) ..

		| | Mag the shot _Decoy_ is a beauty. That I could see hanging on the wall.
Is there a story behind it? Very cool shot, cool window=painting.

		| | thanks justine. i dont know the story 'behind' it, but what that is is a boarded up window on the side of this odd little knickknack store i can see out the building where i work in downtown Washington, DC, by the convention center.
I'll try and get you a picture of the whole building. :)

You bet! Here's a screenshot showing how I converted the colors between the two versions.

And you're right, "Rosettes..." is a little crooked! At first I thought you meant "Untitling" it and wondered what would have been better...(besides new glasses apparently!). I really did almost submit it, too!
