| I have had 75 comments for about the last few days for the 'best of' today my comments number 76, however when I actually looked there were 5 comments I had not seen. I just wondered if this was a bug?When I counted I got 80. |

If you are checking them off as "helpful" to keep track of them, and theya re later modified, they lose the checkmark. I'm not sure, but they may even lose the checkmark when the commenter changes his VOTE, even if the comment stays the same. I know I have had to recheck comments before, and I have seen them change their relative position in the list as well...

ok, I dont really care, just was not sure if something went wonky.

I may have recounted, what was odd tho was that the number changed by one, yet I had 4 0r 5 new comments, I am sure it is just me.

| I think they do lose the check mark if the commenter changes the vote. I've seen the check mark "go away" even though the comment itself didn't change - hence the suspicion that if someone changes a vote, the block gets "unchecked". Which means the other night I unchecked a whole lot of people's comments. :-) |
