This is one of my recent attempts at shooting sports. I wanted to see what people thought in general....but particularly of the editing. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I think you could have caught him at his peak in the jump...would be much more effective then IMO.

Regarding the editing, there's a noticeable anomaly in dodging in the dark area middle-left that bothers me a lot.

I would think a different angle-- that white brick wall would work as a great background if you angled it differently.

in comparison with the other photo i posted, is this type of composition better for a basketball shot?

thanks for the comment. i know the lighting is bland and i just tried to fix the contrast problem. i dont think its much better though. any suggestions?
