Anyone know how to blend one pic into another? I have no recollection on how to make a layer transparent so that the top layer reveals some of the bottom layer.

THanks in adnace.
oh, yeah, I'm using ps cs.

Reduce the opacity of the top layer - there should be a slider that is set to 100 % - if you reduced that to 50% then you'd have half of the top layer showing with half of the bottom layer showing.

If you only want to reveal certain portions of the bottom layer, you need to use a layer mask. Create a layer mask on the top layer. Then, paint black where you don't want the bottom layer to show through, and paint white where you do want the bottom layer to show through.
