Must get outside and enjoy the weather, so we dusted off the fishing poles, and I (of course) brought the camera as well.

Also had a young man's first hunting trip today, and it went quite well as he bagged his first squirrel. Of course I had to cook it tonight since my wife won't touch it. ;^)

Some of these may be a bit snap-shottish, but hey - thought I'd share.

Don't get used to it. Every time it does this, it comes and bites you in the butt the next week. Maybe I'm just paranoid though.. :P

It would give some context if we knew were you were. It reached 50 deg. here in Madison, WI toward the end of this week.

I live in TN and I don't think we are EVER going to get snow. We had flurries once but man I want some snow!!! Here lately it has been in the 50's and 60's. I can't believe it.

Hi Mandy, we are neighbors! I'm in KY and we totally enjoyed the 61 and sunshine we got here today! We've had one snowfall of about 2" that disappeared the same day. As far as I'm concerned that is enough for me!! Bring on the spring!!

I'm not digging this weather at all. Illinois is supposed to be cold and snowy this time of year, and I love it....where is it this time of year? I wanna wake up to a biting wind and snowfall.

Try Texas. We're supposed to go over 80 tomorrow. Turning on the AC in January is just plain wrong!

I'm in central viginia too and ironically enough went out and shot some pictures of a family fishing... perhaps it was YOU!

Actually I mainly shot ducks and just saw 1 guy fishing. It was a beautiful day though :)

Edit, I MIGHT post a pic or two tomorrow but now it is bed time.

About 95 degrees here today. Was 111 degrees on New Years Day. Just imagine what it'll be like in July!

It's been warm here as well (south-west Missouri) -- but it does this from time to time. The weather has always followed cycles of severity. I've had to break out the heavy coat a couple of times (at night) and it has only flurried for a day or two.

The way I see it, it's not allowed to get cold unless we get snow. ;)

I remember as a kid wading thru snow up to my waist and drifts up to my shoulders. Granted I was a lot shorter then, but it would still put the snow up to my knees or upper thighs.

I'm in southeastern VA- yorktown area. Been a wierd winter for sure. Today it was over 65 and we were out hiking. I only got a few shots since it was just my daughter and I and she hates me stopping every few feet to take pictures lol.
Been very warm. A few weeks ago it was 70 and not two days later it dropped down to low 30's and snowed like crazy for a half hour. Saying it's supposed to get cold again here in the next week. Of course cold here is warm for this time of year where I come from.

Great shots and looks like everyone had fun fishing!
