Let me know what you guys think...all comments and suggestions are welcome and I know would help me get better.

it looks a great scene to shoot, just totally dead center. i'd retake the shot from an angle, trying to keep all background houses out of the photo. and perhaps a more contrasty darker feel. it looks like it could be a great eerie shot if the colors and lighting are right.

for shure this picture has a lot potential, because the motiv itself is really photogenic (the tree and barn and so on).
i think an other perspective would have made a more dramatic and thrilling atmosphere, cause here it looks a bit boring, because this eye catching tree is horizontally centered, the same with the barn.
another distracting thing for me is the blown out sky and the unsaturated colors.or you could have tried to convert it into b&w. i think it would have worked here.

Simply cropping the photo better would make a tremendous difference. Play with it and remember the rule of thirds.

And here is another edit. I did what i could in editing for right now to take the suggestions into account, but I do plan on reshooting as well.

Let me know which you all prefer...

I'll be totally honest with you, I think your best bet is to reshoot the scene from a different angle in better lighting.
