(I'm not really, but I bet you wouldn't have clicked here if you knew the truth!)
My name is Bonnie, I'm a 20-year old English major, and I like to think of myself as a good photographer with a bad camera, though that's probably being a little too generous.
These are all photoshopped at least a bit, but I'm awful with Photoshop so it doesn't really do much, and I mostly have to rely on my "talent." So, tips, critiques, ideas, anything--all appreciated!

Joey: it was actually your art that lead me to this place :) I was searching for the abandoned psych ward in Whitby on google, and your wonderful pictures came up. Thye enticed me to go check the ward out (though I didn't get in because there are really high fences up) and then join this forum. So it's very coincidental (but awesome!) that you read this. :) :) :)
wavelength: How does one adjnust white balance in PS?

It was a joke related to the Hair comments, but you can just go to levels, and select the white point Icon, and the click on the image where a white spot should be instead of yellow.
I like it how it is though, I think it works with the yellow. |

But now I want to actually try it, haha :) in levels, all I get are channel, input level, and output level. It might be me though, because I have an old version of PS (6.0).
jmritz: I beleive that you believe right. |

Welcome to the Jungle Heartbreaker. Did you realize that there wasn't any picture with your camera that have been entered in a Challenge before.
If you enter a challenge, your pic will be right at the top for this camera |

Welcome to the addiction Hail, it appears that you will fit in here nicely, both with your images and your personality (and I'm not calling anyone out here but I'm thinking Joey may have some competition coming from this member ;) )

In PS6 I use Adjust > Color Balance. Move the Yellow/Blue slider a bit toward Blue, and maybe the Cyan/Red a little toward Cyan.
If your camera has a white balance preset you can use that in the future; I'm totally addicted to it and actually carry a white piece of paper in my camera bag for that purpose. :) |
