You guys are just too darn efficient with making comments on my shots!!! Don´t get me wrong though, I appreciate it very much, please keep it up :)
Ever since I joined DPC I have tried to have more "helpful" comments than I recieve but they just come pouring in and while I am trying, I just can´t keep up! I actually gave up trying to have more helpful comments made than total received last fall, figured I would just keep the total made over the total received but you guys have made 140 comments on my last 3 challenges!!! Got 31 on the best of 2005 challenge, 64 on my road entry and 45 on my singled out entry. I hereby offically give up trying to keep up although I will try to comment as often and efficiently as possible, I give you my word.
If you are wondering the point of this post, it´s just a big "thanx" post to all of you. A couple of you have caught my attention though, graphicfunk and Jutilda, I think it´s just insane how efficient these people are. Also, a favorite commenter of mine is Xilebo, I always really enjoy one of her comments, she seems to be able to sniff out one of my shots because I can´t remember the last time I entered a challenge and DIDN´T get a comment from her.
Anyway, if this isn´t the right forum for a post of this nature, the SC can feel free to move it to the "rant" forum. Just thought it would be fun if some of you would tell your favorite commenters that you appreciate the work they put into this site.

| I wish that I would receive 50% of the comments that you seem to be obtaining on your submissions, that would probably mean that I am doing something very, very right... |

looks like you excelled yourself.take more worse shots and your problem will be fixed soon ;D

You made a very good comment on my Best Of entry. You called me out on my crappy Photoshopping skills and really caught my blunders. I appreciate the time you took to write it. It shows you spent a fair bit of time squinting at it.
If that comment is any indicator, the quality & time you spend to make a comment is worth three or four of my comments, so plain numbers aren't a very good indicator for you.

If you stop entering those great pictures you will have a chance to catch up. I'm 4:1 helpful vs received and one of my entries only got two comments. That's what happens when you are merely average. |

Well thank you Lárus! I have not been commenting much on challenge entries lately or participating much either. I love to comment though, just by looking at the image and say the next thing that comes to mind. Maybe it´s not helpful because after all I´m a beginner in photography myself and don´t have the authority to go into much details. What is strange though is that by looking and commenting on other people´s photos I learn from their technique and/or lack thereof sometimes and try to encourage where I see fit.

As with favorite commenters I agree with Lárus that Dan
graphicfunk and Jutilda always make my day, when I have comments from people like them my scores just don´t matter anymore.
Oh, and Lárus, I can almost always single out a shot from you in a challenge! You cannot hide from me LOL. A trip with amateur photographers in Iceland last November gave me an idea what you get up to to get a decent shot.
Sorry Lárus but I just have to show people this one, don´t get mad!
