Ok, so I kill threads sometimes.

On the other hand, I don't know if it could rightly be called killing a thread if you (by means of an example) post a thread with a question, get answers, then close the thread by stating a simple thank you that all questions have been answered.

I wonder if the thread killing could be tweaked to not count threads started by the killer.

It's really more of a thread suicide anyways right?

I don't know if I actually care about this, but there is something sinister about my 70 threads killed....

Threads Killed: 682

Who cares. Just one of those neat stats but whatever.

Thread killing-
It is a stat, yes it means yours was the last post in that thread. There are various thoughts and opinions on this phenomenon. There are those that wear the 'Thread Killer' title as a badge of honor, some view it as an attestment to their lack of 'popularity' or 'dorkiness' :-P. Some view it as a 'trophy' like a moosehead on your wall or a mounted mahi-mahi, and either appreciate your hunting prowess and skill, or see it as cruel and in-humane. There are those that view it as an almost but not quite entirely useless number merely taking up space on your profile. There are even ancient and mystic beliefs that the number of threads killed in this life are worth some kind of 'points' that have a bearing on your status in your internet afterlife.

Something to be coveted and sought after, or a thing to be held in utter contempt and disgust, or somewhere in the middle, that decision, my friend, is a thing that one needs to search deep within themselves and find where there heart and soul lies on the matter.

...or maybe not, don't listen to me, I'm just a maroon!!!
:-P

I prefer threads closed with an insightful, intelligent, entertaining and definitive post which requires no further elaboration.

"Killed" sounds so pejorative!

Oh Art, art, wherefore art thou?

Haven't seen you posting your work lately. I even picked up a little Godzilla toy to play with (but keep forgetting to bring it home from work) to match yours...

Nice work. I'm still waiting for a little rampage and flampage in my portfolio....
