Sorry had to share this

This "junk mail" just came throuygh my letter box. In cas ethe text is too small please note the

58.6% typical APR rate and the 44.2% - 69.1% APR Variable

and the really laughable bit down bottom right

"All this for an annual fee of £19"........"No surprise charges"

Although to be fair, it sounds like it's aimed at people with a bad credit rating as a route to build up a more useable credit history.

It's not like they're trying to scam anyone, it's written pretty big!

That's at least one good thing on this side of the pond - the max interest rate is 'only' 28% on credit cards.

69%? I think i know a loan shark cheaper than that, and no surprise charges, well, if you don't count the medical bills for broken bones for failure to pay LOL
