wow, well, it seems i've taken a pic in the cliché contest that greatly varies in taste depending on the person. I have 5 comments, 2 positive, 2 negative, and one in the middle. I'm actually doing worse in this contest than the last, where my pic was all blurry and took within 5 minutes of the contest ending. Ah well, whatever anyone says, my cliché pic is still my favourite pic yet. I'm actually thinking of printing this one out.

Hey Refracted, my Moncton buddy (that's where I'm from). I even went to Universite de Moncton to get my MBA. Good times, good times. Hope you have electricity (20,000 homes are out of electricity until at least Thursday).
Enough about that. About your pic. Take sollace in the fact that you did get some positive comments, meaning you picture had some good elements. I hope the "negative" comments give soem constructive criticism. The important thing is that you like the picture. This is much more imprtant than submitting a picture that people like but you dislike. Gotta go with your own style.
Have fun, and I'm sure you'll bag a ribbon sooner or later. Good luck. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Don't worry about it. :o) My b4 & after pic is being trashed as I though it would.... one guy even called it "garbage". LOL But I love it and that's what counts. :o)
So chin up and enjoy the show!

Heh, I have 2 comments, and a very bad score, I mean BAAAAD score, and I like this picture more than any others I've taken, so... I figure, tough titties to all the voters, I'm pleased with my picture, and I'm not going to get too upset about it anymore. I'm here to learn, and if people won't comment, I won't learn. Maybe they're just giving me low scores to be mean! waaargh! |

I have a picture in Befor And After challenge, and a few people seem to not understand it, although to me it's very obvious to me :(

Hey jacko, yep, still electricity here even though most of my friends dont :), in any case, i got some awesome pics out of it.
//www.3dluvr.com/refracted/photo_temp/icestorm1.jpg up to 14 (1-6 is the ice, and 7-14 is the snow OVER the ice.. and we're expecting more snow and ice tonight, eek!)
Not all very good photos, some are just to show off the amazing trees. I think there's really only 2-3 "good" pics out of all that, but it's cooler to see the extent of damage of the snow and ice more than anything.
as for the negative comments, neither were very constructive :(, oh well, i still love the pic :)

My pic is doing really badly, I'm just hoping I'll come last now.
Out of 5 comments, 3 positive, 1 negative and 1 I consider to be construstive criticism.
I had to rush my entry, and I know it could be better ,but it's tongue in cheek and that's how I am. |
