Not sure if this has been posted here before, but I just modified my canon timer remote cable so i can add a 20 ft section.

After this done on another forum I decided to make one my self.

Stopped by Radio shack and picked up the items

1. 20 foot 1/8 in head phone extension cable $ 7.99
2. 3 conduit Mini jack (1/8in) female plug $3.99
3. 3 conduit Mini jack (1/8in) male plug $3.99

I had to get a soldering iron for $7.99

sure beats the canon price of $80 ish dollars

took me about 25 minutes, but I had to start over cause I messed up and did not connect the ground wire to the male and femal plugs
