Hi,

I am interested in finding where other people regularly go shooting in and around Dublin.
I have spent the 2 weekends in and around Malahide and regularly visit Dun Laoighaire, the Wicklow Mountains (Sally Gap, Lough Tay), Sandymount and Howth.
I am particularly interested in locations with a lot of wildlife and anywhere within 90 mins drive of the city centre.

Thanks

when I lived in Dublin years ago, I only had a little digital ixus and was only just begining to take an interest in photography, therfore I didn't really make the most of it, also Ihad no car so I harldy left the city at all.

Within dublin itself, ther are lots of great spots, the streets get very busy so lend themselves well to candid street shots and there are loads of lovely little parks which are sure to have some wildlife for you, especially the huge phoenix park on the outskirts

I know this is a very old thread, but I'm new to the site.

It all depends what sort of wildlife you're after.

Personally I like to go to -
Botanic Gardens
Dublin Zoo
Dalkey/Killiney
Dun Laoghaire
Or even just around the city centre.

Always nice to know where others go, and what they're interested in photographing.
