How do you do it? I see that it is possible to add "Photographer's Comments" to a Photo after a challenge, but I can't figure out how. (In the food challenge I thought that I could add the recipe later, but couldn't so I added it as a post)

I think you do it through your portfolio

After challenge just click on your entry and you will see the comments box. You can add a comment then, and it will still be seen and read, even if it is not directly under the photo.

i've always wondered that - i've only ever done it as Rose suggested, but people do add post-challenge comments in the photog comments box. I never knew if maybe it was a members only thing

as only members can have portfolios, editing your photog notes after a challenge is a member's only thing--another reason to cough up the $2/month ;-)
if you are a member, from the menu, go to my portfolio, find your image, click it, and edit away. |

If you click on your challenge photo from your portfolio it will allow you to see and edit your detail text box that was available when you originally submitted the shot. You can add a comment here after the challenge results are posted
