I am setting up an online portfolio for the first time, and would greatly appreciate any suggestions. This is something of a career portfolio as opposed to the traditional photography type. Most of the photos have been seen on this site before, and I am grateful for all that I've learned here. Thanks in advance to anyone who spends the time to help.

looks pretty good...it definately wouldn't hurt to take little class at a community college on web design...but hey, getting your stuff out there and seen is the biggest part, right?

Center the table that you have the content in... will make it easier for the viewer to view.

Make sure you edit the title tags... the window bar is showing as "Page Title"

Other than that.. just get more content on the site.

Thanks dpaull. I'll be honest, this is really more of a forced exercise rather than an attempt at personal exposure (as in a business site). I don't personally think my work is ready for, well, anything really. Still, considering a 48 hour deadline and NO training in web development...

BTW, I really like your site.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have updated the titles, but cant get it to center correctly. The black bar on the left gets all screwed up. Thanks again.

I think its very nice and professional looking. The only thing I can see is what Fotoman said. . .just more content.

Good luck! I think you did great!

Very nice. A couple of quick items to call to your attention. 1- The bright blue text on your links is too close in tone to the grey background and vibrates. I'd try another color. 2- In your resume, under Education, use Associate Degree instead of the less formal Associates.

Hey, i gotta be different...I like the layout pretty well. It does what it is supposed to do, and looking different is fine. It is logical to move about and that works.

The blue text on teh gray BG gotta go - lose the blue. Hard as hell on my eyes and very difficult to read.

The stock photography part - the first pic up is a black and yellow bird - and the image is not in focus.
The art photos are great.

on the stock page and similar ones the bar on the left lists INDEX as link..makes no sense. the second link, portfolio, goes to the same place.

the contact page has NO contact info. I want to know how to contact YOU, not to give YOU my contact info.

Thank You all for the great comments. I really appreciate the help. Contact page will be updated soon, and I'll change the link color right away! New content will be up soon, but i am limited for the time being by assignment guidelines. Another week or so and I can do with the site what I like. Oh, and I'm already working on the nav bar issues but thanks again.
