Can you suggest a software that runs on MAC, that is cheap or freeware that I can use to edit photos, until I can afford Photoshop?

Thanks

GimpShop is what you want, I think. It's a hack of the Gimp that has the look and feel of Photoshop. And it's free, what could be better?

GS still relies on X11 though, which not everyone is comfortable with...

Are you a new Intel Mac user?

How about Photoshop Elements? You can pick up a copy of version 2 on Ebay for about 20 bucks. (PC and Mac versions on same disk so these are plentiful.) I think you would have to go with version 3 under Rosetta on an Intel Mac since version 2 requires classic mode to install (but not to run).
