| I open the good evening thread the other day and was amazed to see something like 250 pages! Just got me wondering what is the longest/largest thread anyone has seen. I know....I'm bored at work....what can I say. |

Good Evening is the longest thread, like, ever... on DPC anyways. Thanks for noticing, the beast is almost a labor of love at this point :D
I have no idea where you'd find a longer one on another site if that's what you meant.. |

The thread in question was started because there was a "rant" thread on some controversial topic (that's all I'm gonna say) that had developed into the longest-ever DPC thread, and some folks decided it would be good to have a more light-hearted "longest-ever" thread.
The not-to-be-named-for-fear-of-ressurection thread remains the longest "real" thread in DPC hisory; the current "good evening" thread is sort of a self-perpetuating grab-bag of a thread with no functional purpose other than to BE long...

| It's a place to go, talk about anything, everything, relax, have fun, get to know people.... I think that is more than just wanting to be the longest thread. |
