Last night around 9pm , my fiance was killed in a car accident south of Omaha, Nebraska. My mind is numb and my heart is broken, and I can't even think straight. I am crying so hard, how do I cope?

Crystal, I PM'd you. Meanwhile I am sending hugs and prayers your way.

I'm so sorry to hear that, thoughts and prayers with you.

I just read through some of the online newspapers in the Omaha area, and they didn't even mention it.. shame on them.

here in Iceland all fatal accidents get covered with a short mention about the victim and the imediate family and condolances from the paper.

when I opened this thread and started reading I was about to send my best wishes for a happy life, never thought this thread of joy and happiness would come to such a tragic end, but I still wish for a happy life for you, I think you need it now more than ever.

Crystal,
Words seem so inadequate at a time like this. Know that the thoughs of the DPC community are with you. What a terrible loss you have endured. My heart goes out to you and your family in this most difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Crystal ... no matter how inadequate they are ...we are thinking of you.

My heart aches for you, Crystal. Keep strong for your boys who will also be devastated but take time for yourself.
If you need to talk about Jordon, PM me

You will get through this, even if that seems impossible now.

Chrystal,
I know it seems imossible right now but, please believe me that there is hope. I lost someone I was very in love with also. She was killed in an auto accident on X-mas eve many years back. I was completely devistated and wondered to just as you how I would go on. I had to take it minute by minute and day by day. The pain does ease with time. You need to be with friends, family and those who love you. It is very important that you USE the support they offer. Now is not a time to be alone. Just know that you haven't lost him. He just waiting in a different place. I now have a wife, 2 beautiful children and some very lovely memories of a very special person. God bless you and your family.

If you need anything and I mean anything if it is within my means please don't hesitate to ask. PM me and I will give you my phone number.

thank you all so much for your support. I have been crying for several hours and it seems to never end. It's almost as if he's still here with me standing next to me, cuz i feel so much love surrounding me. He is and always will be considered my husband and it is a terrible loss but with my friends and family i am getting through this. Again, thank you all so much for your support. I am truly blessed to have a support group this big and this great!
