I think he is right,after seeing some photos done with Nikon D2X and D200 . |

Cool. Nikon is awsome. I cant wait to get my d200. Still hard to find in my area.

Looks to me like he's not dumping, just getting a new toy. I doubt that he's concerned about brand, but more with the functions he needs right now .
Since he had a D100, he already has glass, and he has Canon glass.
Who gives a crap as long as the camera works for you? |

Thank God Nikon now has cameras to buy...for a while there a couple years ago I thought Canon would consume us all like Invasion of the Body Snatchers or The Blob!.
It's always good for us (the consumers) that you have two or more brands going at each other on basically even ground...drives prices down and quality up!

Nikon's product cycle has always been a little slow. Canon's has always been much quicker. Get excited now, cuz' it will be a long wait until it happens again. :D

I think that is just fine. If he want's to retreat to the other side then that is his thing (traitor).
There should actually be some sort of hybrid camra....a Canikon. Giving the best of both worlds.

| i am not sure about others, but i find the feel of nikon in hand is much better than canon. I always feel like buying d70, but waiting for some reasons. |

| We've always said it's not the camera, it's the photographer. I think it's very sporting of him to downgrade just to prove that point. ;-P |

I guess when you get to the level where you have so much glass that you just want to have a camera and a lens, a camera and a lens, a camera and a lens, it just makes sense to get what you want.
A lot of people take two bodies when they go shooting. |
