Dell is offering the Canon 5D for $2804. That's about $500 cheaper than B&H. Coupon expires after 175 uses. Uh...make that 174. ;-P |

Did you really just get the Canon 5D....

Much congrats Shannon. I think that's going to do some wonderfulness in your hands. You do a lot of staged photo-illusion style shots and I am sure that added resolution will come in handy.
Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

ROFL! Yeah, those are practically identical. ;-)
I noted B&H's price from DealCam.com, but you're right... it's now $2999 plus shipping (still more expensive). I bought one, but it's for the office, not me. I might borrow it on occassion, but my plan is to sell my Rebel and buy the 20D we have at the office now. |

Oh, I bet he did! I heard that D&L are so sympathetic to the the increased SC workload due to forum brushfires breaking out daily that they cut a $2,000 check for every member of that august group, and Shannon, impulsive creature that he is, blew it all (and more) on a new body, ignoring his wife's pleas for a working toilet and a new refrigerator...

Well, maybe the wife will like the new body more? |

Only if it's HERS; after time, wives are known to become indifferent to their husbands' bodies... (and vice-versa I might add)

Geez Shannon, get your priorities straight. Who needs a working toilet? |

Yeah...with a 5D you can take a nice photo of a working toilet. Make a full size print and just put that up instead! |

This deal is back at Dell. $2804 is about $200 cheaper than B&H. Use coupon code PCDM6VGSQPH9VZ. |

A good deal just got even better (sorry, Troy). Dell has the Canon 20D body for $1039 and the Canon 5D body for $2639. That's now considerably less than I paid for both. Note that these coupons are limited, so I wouldn't expect the deal to be around very long.

Sam's has a good price for the 20D kit...
...and another 20D kit bundle, too.
...and if you do buy one there, make sure to pick up a 6-pound box of Cheerio's and a few gallons of peanut butter.
