Nikon just gave up film, Pentex is wokring with Samsung. I haven't heard a peep out of Olympus with their own lens/sensor format system.
I wonder if there are other small companies that will follow.

Whoa, that sucks for all of KM's loyal customers who've invested their platform for all these years. I know Sony's going to continue using KM's lens mount and technology but it never seems to be the same when a company changes like that.

Sure, that's what they say, but who's to say that Sony will actually make dslr's let alone with KM mounts? This could all just be their attempt to put a positive spin on things.
I knew the digicam bubble has burst with very little profitability, but who would have guessed?
I wonder if other companies will fold up.
