Urban Clothing Company is currently seeking a Part-Time to Full-Time Photographer with Digital Imaging and/or Photo Editing Skills.
We are currently seeking an experienced Photographer to take pictures of our complete in-store Catalog. The Photographer will take all pictures and also get images ready for the web.
The candidate must be a talented photographer who is a self-starter and also a team player. The Candidate will work within our Boston Office and must be a flexible, motivated, and can work well under tight deadlines.
The photographer will be responsible for taking pictures of the stores entire list of merchandise, editing photos and organizing them for the web, and must communicate well between the Web Development Team, create methods to enhance and accelerate development, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates must have at least 2-6 years of Photography experience and can demonstrate strong Editing skills. Extensive experience with Photoshop, Quark, Image Ready, and Illustrator is essential.

â€Â¢ Only applicants with examples of work will be considered
â€Â¢ Must have previous experience in managing multiple projects
SKILLS
Photography Skills
Digital Imaging and/or Photo Editing Skills
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Skill in handling multiple projects simultaneously
â€Â¢ Must possess full knowledge of Photo Editing
â€Â¢ should be fluent in PhotoShop, Illustrator and/or Quark Express
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
â€Â¢ Photography of all Company Clothing and Merchandise
â€Â¢ Digital Editing and color Matching of all Photos
â€Â¢ Photo Optimization for the web
â€Â¢ Site and on-line promotion Photography
â€Â¢ Collaborating in a team creative environment
â€Â¢ Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark Express
â€Â¢ The ability to work under tight deadlines, working well under pressure and on multiple projects at once.
â€Â¢ The ability to take initiative and responsibility for projects
â€Â¢ Portfolio required with photography demonstrating refined color matching and editing skills

Photographing VHS & DVD movie covers for a web site. Also the photography of gourmet food for a web site. You must be able to cook the meat for photography. You must have knowledge of arranging food for photography. You must have some photography experience and understand photography lighting techniques. You must live in the greater Boston area. Possibly :)
Instead of posting the text, I could just post a link. Those particular listings were from craigslist. BTW: all these postings come from public job sites, free to view, etc. So...it isn't toooo big of a deal. I guess if anyone here is applying for the positions, note where it originated from instead of saying DPC or something.
And yeah, I haven't really considered all that trouble stuff heheh.
