Hello,
I am just thinking to buy a backpack for my D70 and several other lenses:
AF Nikkor 50mm f/1.8D
AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G IF-ED
Tokina AF 12-24mm f/4.0 AT-X 124AF Pro DX
Tokina AF 100mm f/2.8 AT-X Macro DX
Any wisdom? Thanks
Price range: 50-100$.

they will all fit in a lowepro minitrekker AW very nicely...with room for flashes and tons more to spare.

Try //www.crumplerbags.com
They have some pretty decent stuff and they don't really look like other photo bags/backpacks.
You can't get all different sizes and they tell/show you how much you can fit in each.

The crumplers are pretty good, my brothers got one he keeps his 10D, grip, 70-40L, Sigma 18-??, 550EX, and laptop in there nicely.
The only annoance is that like most cases it cant keep the 10D with the grip attached. At least not with the lense as well. |

I have a lowepro microtracker and it works great. I usually carry: body, 70-200mm, 105mm Macro, 18-70mm, and flash. |

Thanks for your quick reply.
A colleague bought this backpack. It looks pretty robust. Is it good enough?

Anyone have experience with the Tamrac Expedition 5? I'm thinking of getting that one soon.

Is it all weather like the minitrekker AW? That's what sold me.

I have a LowePro Micro Trekker 200 that I love. It's nice and compact, so it doesn't feel like a frame pack or something, but it holds a ton of stuff. I've fit 2 bodies, 3 lenses (1 a fairly large telephoto), a case full of filters and a bunch of other stuff in there at once. You could definately put 4 lenses in. It's got a lot of nice features like leather flaps that keep the internal zippers from jingling against your gear and lash straps for a tripod or whatever you might like to attach to the outside. I've always really liked LowePro bags. This is my second. The other was a smaller shoulder bag for my old point and shoot (non-compact). That thing went through hell without a scratch (on it or the camera inside). |

I use this too. It fits D70+Lens, extra lens, flash. Cards, filters and junk.
