A couple questions...
-I am in Guam, 15hrs ahead of eastern time. If I take a picture on February 16th here when it is still February 15th in the US......can I still submit to a challenge with a February 15th deadline?

-For one of the current challenges, I duplicated the background layer, used levels only on the top layer, then erased some of the top layer. (To get exposure right). Is that all legal?

Thanks for any help..

The only time that matters for the challenges is the server time at the bottom of every page. When the SC validate the date of the image they take into consideration the time zone you live in -- so be sure to have the time set to your local time (... and leave it at your home time when traveling).

The above is fine for challenges under the Advanced rules, but not for those under the Basic ruleset for a number of reasons including duplicating the layer and selective editing.
