Does anybody know any other places I can get a disc like this?
Color Correction Disc
This is the only one I have found online so far. I have seen one similar to this, but the black/grey/white are evenly striped on one side, with a white panel/reflector on teh back side.
Anybody know of places to get one of these? Thanks

Simply placing a grey card in the shot can give you a point of reference for color correction. Those cost about $5.
This card and process seem to complicate matters more than they help.

I agree, this is something you could make quite easily and all you really need is a grey card. |

I wonder how well this works?

It's a little expensive and there's probably a good homemade solution for this also.

Along with my agreement I'll add the black and white areas are extremes and quite often not important for a particular shot. What is important are the relative white and black of the scene.

This may be what you are looking for and it has excellent reviews.

Thanks for the feedback and links to other products, but I guess I need to clarify what I am asking for.
What I am looking for is basically what I linked to in my OP. I am looking for either other places to purchase the one I posted, or if someone knows where to get the one I described. One side has three stripes (black/grey/white) and the other is white (can be used as a reflector).
Using this disc, will allow for two things. First, give you points of reference for color correction. Second, and a main reason I want it, it lets you check your exposure in all three areas (shadows/midtones/highlights) in the histogram when setting up your lighting.
Thanks!
