Can anyone out there give me a brief overview of how to stitch photos together in Photoshop? I am trying to stitch together some model release forms and have never done this before. Or if there is a topic in the forums about it - already a link to the thread? I tried checking to see if I could find a previous thread about it with no luck. Thanks in advance for any pointers!

I'm a little bit confused about what it is you're looking for - you're talking about stitching photos and stitching model release forms. Are you stitiching together photos of model release forms?
The basic approach for stitching photos in PS that I use is to create a canvas larger than I need, overlay the photos approximately, and then apply a layer mask (Show All mode) to the upper layers, and use the Brush tool (at varying opacities) to hide the parts that I don't want. |

Yes, photos of model release forms. I don't have a scanner to upload them so I take pictures of them and upload the pictures of the forms.

Can I ask why you want to stich the forms together?

I have a picture with two people in it. I have individual model releases for both people. Some of the stock sites I submit to only allow the upload of one model release form for each picture and their forms only allow for one model each. So I need a way to combine both releases into one picture to upload.

Well, if you're married to the idea of splicing together the forms, then I imagine you'll need to make extensive use of the Marquee tool.
Though I don't know the specifics, I think you might actually save yourself time, effort, and frustration by simply typing up a new release form. |
