"Help! Help!"
Our hero, Slippy, is preparing to brave the elements in his relentless pursuit of being the good samaritan...
"I'm coming! Just let me strap on my GPS, Camera, flask (liquor of your choice) lace up my booties..."
"Booties? What kind of hero wears 'booties'?" |
Don't worry, you'll all be safe as long as you stay close to a geologist, booties or not. A sure way to get on the good side of your neighborhood geologist is to fill your flask with Jack Daniels, and share.
:-D

I guess I've really got southern blood now.
Originally from the East, the cold never really bothered me. Yesterday it was a blistering cold 57 degrees here in Florida. LOL...Heat turned on, and got up cold a lot through the night.
Today it is to be about 63 degrees, and we are heading to the beach for some kite flying.
In Florida, the winters usually last about all of 3 days with a lower temperate then 30 degrees. I have to say, I don't miss the northeast winters at all. BUT, I do miss the seafood!!

What's a firsbee? There is a frisbee out there from yesterday - buried under the snow. Couldn't find it this morning. |

Ok...here comes the crazy person with her conspiracy theories....
People, if these ideas are anywhere close to the truth, we need to educate ourselves, dontcha think?? Google search... weather manipulation, chemtrails and HAARP. I'm not saying I believe in these things either, but the facts are out there and if our governments are the cause of the crazy weather, we need to be aware.

Here in San Jose, CA, we had about a week of winter, where it was "cold" for a few days (about 45 F), and then it started raining. Everything is sprouting; some flowers are even blooming. Green grass is everywhere.
Basically we went from autumn to spring this year... |

the wather here in Iceland is pretty weird to..
last thursday it was raining, and the grass was green, friday morning when I woke up we had 15" of snow, then last night we had rain and most of the snow melted, then this morning it was back...
I wish the woman upstairs would make up her mind.. winter or spring...
(yes it must be a woman, men are not so inconsistent)

Could someone explain to me what "snow" is? I keep hearing people talk about it, but I don't think it exists. (at least not in Alabama)

Go stick some ice in a blender. Crush it until it is soft and fluffy. Snow!
