I was in a mall a few weeks ago taking some photos for my photography class at school. I decided that I would walk through Neiman Marcus and see if there was anything of interest to photograph. Before I knew it I hear someone behind me say "I got him" and then hang up his cell phone. A second later this huge guy who must of been like 6'4 and 250 pounds comes up to me and says "No pictures". I then saw he had one of those little earpieces and there were many other men dressed as civilians walking around the store with the ear pieces. It was then that I learned Arnold Schwarzenegger was in the store. I saw him several moments later looking at some fur coats with his wife. I left the store laughing. How could they think that some 15 year old kid was a paparazzi? Oh well, I thought it made for a funny story.

That better have been California Highway Patrol ... I don't think Arnold S. is eligible for protection by the Secret Service.

That's funny! Whole different world than my experience yesterday photographing the governor of Maryland. They were practically begging me to take pictures. He stopped and posed with EVERYONE. Course, he is running for re-election, he's a republican, and he was in a 85% democratic county...

If they were buying furs, they probably didn't want any evidence to fall into the hands of PETA.

Plus, those stitches are pretty ugly, and the LAPD has yet to decide whether to cite him for riding that bike without a license.

Hmmm ... NPR has had other stuff to report on this week, though I'm surprised I didn't catch it on CBS.

The governator might have his own security force too, letting the State police off the hook. Arnold comes from Hollywood, and is in a whole 'nother tax bracket.

Like Arnold can't afford to pay the ticket!

"cannot go back and cite the governor because we did not witness the driving."

Yeah, maybe his son was driving.

Yeah, maybe his son was driving.

All those CHP officers in his guard can't provide sworn testimony? Letting his son drive on a public street is probably felony child endangerment -- I wouldn't offer that as an alternative hypothesis.
