it's almost midnight, way past my regular bed time. I can't sleep, would anyone like to bore me to death so I can go sleep? If you've got that ability drop me a message on AIM if you want. pacuthbert

I think I sound desperate. Lol.

Turn on your screen saver and watch it for about 5 mins you'll be fast asleep before you know it.

damn... is there anyway to recover it? I just deleted the whole package of those things because I thought it was ridiculous and I'd never use it.

I used to have trouble sleeping all the time but now I use brainwave entrainment and fall asleep fast (I sound like a commercial).

Anyway, just do a google search and you'll find lot's of cds and such that do it.

The programs I have used are "The Brain Wave Generator" and "The Neural Programmer"

works like a charm for me. The also have sounds that work as stimulants (I can't drink coffee so this is great for me) and one's that increase creativity etc etc...

Edit: I believe the 2 programs I mentioned have 30day trials too

ooh that sounds like fun. I normally listen to classical music to soothe me, but mum has taken over the tele and it's not a available.

Nevermind, I'm dosing off. Lovely stuff. Billy Idol works. I think this thread should be dead now.

Oh, wacky. Do they have ones to quell my inner rage, too? ;)

Do you listen using headphones? I don't own headphones that are comfortable enough to wear while falling asleep, unless I lay on my back which I rarely do while falling asleep.

"The Brain Wave Generator" does require headphones - "The Neural Programmer" does not (which is why I switched to it, I can't sleep with headphones either).

Some people do use it for meditation and such but personnally I don't buy into all that stuff.

I had a sleep study done a little while back and they found I don't get very good sleep, my body doesn't stay in the various stages of sleep long enough. Unfortunately medication can help get you to sleep but it does not help with the type of sleep you get. Anyway - long story short I have doe a lot of research and built an MP3 CD that plays throughout the night that syncs my brain into the various stages of sleep I should be in theoughout the night. I seriously sleep better than I can remember ever sleeping in my life and for the first time in years I feel like I am truely awake - all day. Like I said I know I sound like a commercial but this has truely been a life changing thing for me :)
