Any of you even remotely thinking of doing business with the Brooklyn Camera Shops should read this.

Most of us in NY are wise to these operations but for the rest of you it's easy to get sucked in to their webs. It's good to see some people fighting back. Would be good if some of the mainstream photo mags heard from us as they take advertising from these guys.

I found this link on another photography web site's discussion forum. I thought it would be of interest to anyone buying Camera Equipment on the internet. A Photographer (Don Wiss) decided to take pictures of all the stores selling cameras on the internet that use an address in Brooklyn, NY. It's amazing to see the reality behind these internet "store fronts".

i've been to broadwayphoto.com's website prices too good to be true. Also no address on their website, also along time ago they used to be an address on their ads in macworld magazines, once i found out that they were in brooklyn and the address did not exsist I knew it was a scam
then did some searching and found alot of bad reports/complaints on them
