There are several softboxes on ebay which are quite a bit less than those sold by Alien Bees. Most claim "universal" adapter rings. Does anyone have any experience/knowledge as to whether they work on AlienBee Bxxx units.

The medium size softbox (or octabox) from Alien Bees is only $99. How much cheaper can these ebay softboxes be? And, if they're that much cheaper, what kind of quality can they be? You get what you pay for.
