I actually thought I would stand a fighting chance in this weeks challenge.
Now I see someone not only posting their intended shots ( or ones very similar)( and they are good!) But also adding the very sweet heart wrenching story that goes along with the shot....sigh...
I know it is "allowed" but it makes me kinda sad, I can't top the story, I can only hope my shot stands on its own, and I am just learning, so I doubt it....o well :( whatcha gonna do!? |

Well that is lovely to say :) Maybe one day I will get a real camera, I am thinking that'll help a bit :)
I was intrigued by the fact that your highest rated photos are all similar in colour..I love that orangey palette

And thanks to you too, DQ...I am not all blue or nothin'. And I am obsessed to the point that I am looking to change careers :) So I am not gonna stop shooting! I know much work to do, courses to take etc...
I was just a little jazzed about this week...I am hoping that other thread, with the pics, vanishes into obscurity ! |

Raeann, it's a losing battle. See my rant thread about "this sux". It's all about what you are frustrated about. I was hoping to get posters there like you, but instead, I got "others". LOL...
In any case, my best to you in the challenge!

Well you all are very kind. I know we can't stop this kind of thing, no point in elevating the blood pressure over it :) I guess I gotta get me a membership so I can pre post challenge entries !! J/K!
Besides, I shoot for me, really...and there are a few peeps here whose opinions I have come to value,but I am learning, not here to fight over rules and ribbons :)
I am both excited and scared for this week, if I tank THIS week, well I'll never hear the end of it! |
