May I make a suggestion? Maybe you could have widened the opening a bit. On some balloons they are pretty wide. Then you could poor in one color while it is still warm, but not hot. Or even cool, depending on what kind you use, and prop it up in a bowl hung by a string in your fridge and wait for that to set up. Then do it again with another color, then another, etc, till filled. I think that may have worked.

I thought of that but the problem is there wouldn't be enough pressure to inflate the balloon (like a faucet would).


What about a funnel? Then you could really pour it in fast. Maybe that would work. Another suggestion is after each color layer, blow a bit of air in it, and clip it shut till the next layer.

I'm afraid jello doesn't do ANYTHING really fast (except wiggle maybe). Water baloons are so tiny, even with a funnel I'm just not sure there would be enough pressure to expand it. Plus as soon as I removed the clip I'm sure it would shoot jello out the end.
