Who's gonna be left to vote when all the bagheads are in Jail?
Well, this is coming from a president who's political highlight, IMO, was the Do Not Call List.

Define annoying! What if I post an image with a bright colorful border and someone sends me a PM saying borders SUCK and doesn't have their name in their profile! If I'm annoyed, can I sue? |

U.S. Citizens may still rant and rave about whatever takes their fancy in just about any way they choose. But they cannot do so with anonymity. Personally, I don't find this in the least bit restrictive, as I prefer to self identify when lambasting someone's idiot opinions or remarks. I suppose there could be circumstances when anonymity is desireable, but I have yet to encounter such. All that said, I believe the law is unnecessary and serves little or no useful purpose. |

I think there may be some enthusiasm for more of this:
First felony spam trial begins in Virginia
Probably all related in some manner. I'm all for curbing the unsolicited junk out there. Sounds like there's some work to be done yet based on comments put forth here. ;^)
I used the Yahoo search engine with the following words to pull this up (and thousands more): Virginia Spam Defendant

Only in the US huh...
Well, being not of the US, so to speak, I hope someone starts to use this law to hassle spammers... I'm sick of all the US-sourced spam I get every week!
Cheers, Me. (Real name in profile, FYI). |

Perfect!!!
In the case of The State vs. Palmetto_Pixels... case dismissed!
In the case of Palmetto_Pixels vs. The State... $1.5 million awarded for copyright infringement!!! Given the well-respected stature of the photographer, this was actually a low amount!
It could actually work!!! |

May I remind the court that "a picture is worth a thousand words"?
on the original reason for this post...I think it can be a good idea. I think if you are calling someone out BY NAME then you should be big enough to use your name too. If you do not feel you can use your name for fear of revenge or something like that then you should leave specifics about that person out so that it would appear you were speaking in general and not about one singular person. If it is a bad enough situation that names have to be given then it is probably something for the authorities of some sort (i.e. police, BBB, HRO dept, etc) to be notified and not a public forum such as the web.

without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person...
So if I claim that I wasn't INTENDING to annoy......
I guess for those for whom being annoying comes naturally it is still ok.
Also, what about VOIP? |

Seems like another cut to americains privacy, On another note I watched a show political show last night and in short it reveled that bush has approved the NSA to wire tape anyone they want with out getting a warent or going through proper channels. I'm not 100% sure the name of the show or the writers name but the man who wrote the book is from the newyork times, which I would think is a creditable source. So how long tell 2006 turns into 1984? |
