I went to bed at my usual time to be up early to go to work at my usual time.

I sleep on a waterbed.

I like waterbeds. I know it's old fashion, but so is my drinking.

As I tried to get comfy, I used my elbow to turn my body into its comfy position when all of a sudden...my elbow penatrates the strata of the outer shell of my bed.

Needless to say that I don't exactly have a pin hole of an elbow. The gapeing hole that I pulled my very wet elbow from was big enough to put my head in.

By the time I decided that I was too wet to go to sleep, water has drenched my bedroom. My wife, and what a great wife she is, kept up the facade of being non-chalant, while I was cursing, getting pissed off, worrying about not having enough sleep for work.

Anyhow, I am calling in sick tommorrow to help clean, and buy a new bed. I've had my waterbed for over 20 years, but I think it may be time to purchase a standard, normal, box spring and mattress.

What a drag.

It's almost midnight and I think I need a drink, and not water!

Would it be fair to refer to you as a "Bed Wetter?"

Talk about nighttime emissions! If you're going to get a new bed get a "pillow top".

Yep I had one of those too. Made for some fun nights. :)
AmerH if you want a water bed they make them now where they are just like regular matresses and more controlled water movement.

I liked the old sloshy ones where you could get in bed with you girl and have lazy sex. Just slap your hand on the bed every three seconds and let the motion of the ocean do the rest.

I used to have one myself. I really liked it - except for when the water ehat went out one night and I awoke almost hypothermic! Dang they get cold fast.

So, the nightmare day has ended.

The indoor lake has been cleaned.

The old faithful waterbed has been scrapped, and donated to charity.

The wife and I have bought our first box spring since being married 15+ years.

GAWD, beds are expensive. $3000 later, and a day to wait for delivery, this better be the bed of my dreams.
