anyone experience this? (like writers block...but in photography...) that was maybe too obvious but i'm tired :)

boy do I ever! I go through periods of no creative thought at all, and what I try to take does not work out.

Well, I'm a lot more of a writer than I am a photographer, so I can tell you what works for writer's block. And it is the ONLY thing that works, too. What works is to write! Sounds absurd? The point is, don't think too much, just write. If you can do it, don't think at all. Start writing and keep going, even if you KNOW it's rubbish. Don't even read what you're writing, at least not critically. Amazingly, pretty soon, your characters or ideas seem to coalesce all by themselves and tell you where your story (or whatever) is headed. And before you know it, the blockage is gone. But I stress, you MUST NOT think about what you're doing; just do it!
I'm pretty sure the same thing happens with photography.

There right now on the current challenges. Deadline in 24 hours and can't think of anything.

its probably all in my head...im just not happy with anything ive shot for about the last week! but i'm going on a fun shoot with some friends tommorrow.....so even if my pics suck, at least i'll have fun :)

p.s. stream of consciousness...i believe thats what continuous flow-writing is...?
