Finally decided on a design, logo, color scheme, etc and have almost finished the site. There are a few weird characters that show up because all the FTP info was copy/pasted into the program; to be fixed shortly. I built a draft in Photoshop and my cousin helped me make it net-worthy.
online again finally
Just thought I'd share. |

Nice, I like the layout.
One note, non-netsavey potential clients may not realize you need to roll-over the diamonds to change your gallery photos. You may want to put a little notice to place the mouse over the diamonds.
I also highly suggest getting a real domain name, if you haven't already. It really hard to just "drop" your current website address in conversation and have a potential customer remember it.
Overall, I like it though.

i find the text a bit hard to read, almost the same color as the background (..on the middle frame of the left brain stuff)
...but I really like the way you organized your webste left-brain right-brain. very nice |

Ohhh, is that how that works.....
Aside from that little bit of non-obvious functionality, I think it's really well done. You've obviously been busy too, good for you.
Keep up the good work.

Very nice design - simple and elegant.
Your presentation concept is sort of similar to my domain name:

Thanks all, and yup, the domain is temporary while my old host switches my domain to my new hosting and then it's lorimossphotography.com
It was strategic not showing much instruction, including leaving out how to view images. It's targeted to a specific clientele..young and savvy. That's who I want. Sounds pretentious, and it sorta is. But that's the biz I guess.
:-)
Everything from the logo, to the color, to "brain" concept was all very calculated. It was awesome to be able to make the idea come to life. |
