We went to the zoo today, such an incredibly warm day for January. I hope you enjoy looking at the pics, as much as I enjoyed a warm day and being able to take them. As always comments and critiques are welcome, these were batch processed and uploaded.

Edit to add this one
second edit to add, this is the St. Louis Zoo.

These are all very cool. I love the grizzly (first one) and the penguin shot as well!

OHhh, lovely! My zoo isn't that big. We don't have tons of animals to choose from, but a lot of them are wondering around free. This should help with obstructions on my part, but your pics are wonderful!

Here's my favorite zoo shot that I've taken. (if the link didn't work, then just check my profile page)

It didn't work. How do you put a link in a forum? |

In post mode, click the button on the far right on top of the post window, then enter the 6-digit or so image ID into the box. It links to the picture page, and places the thumbnail inside the link for you.

I like the first, the polar bear and the penguins the best. Some couls use a bit of cropping or sharpening.
I like this one but the fur is a bit dull, needs straightenedd and cropped a little tighter.
If we had known how warm it was going to be here, our GTG might have gone to the zoo. Instead we went to the National Aviary.

A technique called "filling the frame" can provide very good results. It requires enough "reach" to get the frame filled and/or selective editing (as in cropping closer). You may try this in the future and see how you like it.
