My wife and I are planning a road trip in late Feb/early Mar that will include Myrtle Beach, Georgetown, and Charleston, SC and then continue on to Jacksonville FL. Are there any DPC'ers interested in a GTG in or around these locations during this time frame? This will double as a min-vacation for us and a photography excursion for me so we will have some flexibility.

I'm interested. Will watch this thread to keep tabs on what's going on.
If you come up with a definate timetable, please be sure to post it or PM it - I do much better with concrete plans!

I doubt we'll have many takers, but I'll bump periodically to see if there's any interest before we make final plans.

I may be able to bump into you in Charleston, but I never know what my schedule will bring.
So just let me know closer to the dates and when you have your dates set.
I've been meaning to get down to the bridge for a sunrise.
I've already done the sunset:

Definitely on my to-do list... What are the best vantage points?

I am down in the Clearwater/St Pete area of Florida but if I have enough advance notice and no previous plans I could probably make it up to Jacksonville. I will keep an eye on this thread to see how it goes. |

My sister lives in Jacksonville (one of the reasons for the trip) We would end up spending most of our time there. It would be great to have someone who knows the area for best photo-ops.
