I'd like to join as well, but I'm too busy to add a blog to the list of things I don't get done!
I'd certainly be interested in taking up a forum/dicusssion occasionally, as I looked at sportshooter and the bar is a bit high for part time shooters...
A few (hundred) of my sports pics are at //cpix.co.nz as per my sig...
I'm about 2 months behind on that, and going through about 8 events worth of stuff next week hopefully. :-).
I'm not shooting sports for two weeks as the paper I shoot for has a two week break over Xmas.

| I've recently purchased a Canon 1D that I'm upgrading to a Mark II, so I'm offering the 1D for purchase for $1400. It's an amazing camera, with voice tag recording capabilities (which is incredibly handy for any of you photojournalists), and at 8 frames per second it's absolutely ideal for sports photography (which is why I'm posting it in this thread!). It's in excellent condition, with just very minor wear on the bottom, and recently received a clean bill of health from Canon Professional Services. I'll even throw in shipping, a camera bag, and a 1GB Ultra II memory card free of charge. If anyone is interested, shoot me a PM. |
