Finally managed to get my husband as addicted to this as I am! He has just signed up to DPC, even more fighting over the computer than normal! Now this will be fun!

My wife signed up two weeks ago and I´m glad she has a computer of her own. I gave her an Olympus C-730 for birtday present and haven´t seen her since than. First week she placed 53 and was so happy. We don´t photograph the same kind of things, so that means we don´t see each other very often and that I probably will have to get me a new wife (ha,ha).

We have two laptops linked to the Internet. However, one is so slow and old, it's no fun at all to work with it, especially when editing pictures.
Do you want me to use that computer and give my wife the faster one, so she gets addicted too!?
What is with my addiction!?

LOL! Just as well you don't photograph the same things or there would be lots of " I saw it first"! Looks like I have to go out shopping soon! Was thinking about buying an iBook before I leave Japan, electronics are so expensive in England, any recommendations?

actually that happened on the weekend. we were out shooting windows and lots of well you can have that, well you can have that.. :)

as for the other question, as a long time die hard mac guy, i've switched now to PC's.. i dont think macs are as good value for money anymore (ive owned 5 and my wife 2, so i know what im talking about ).. so my recommendation is what i bought in may - a good fast toshiba laptop with a killer screen :)

Ibooks suck.
The only good thing is the airport wireless networking build in. They are very expensive for the performance you get and nowadays it is just a pc clone with a different OS and apple processor.
