I just installed PrintFIX a couple of days ago and I'm having an incredibly hard time generating a usable profile for my i9900. I've talked to tech support and they seem to think my printer is outputting too much "blue". To rectify this I was first told to clean the print head and do an allignment; this didn't solve the problem. Next I was told to match the generated color patch with the one I printed and scanned using channel mixer in CS2 to determine the amount of correction needed; the amounts would be applied then in profiling routine using provided slider controls (lond story short - I couldn't match it up). Last off I was told to go to Canon and download the latest drivers and try again. Still doesn't make a difference. Has anyone run into problems like these? Color management is supposed to save ink and paper but so far I'm wasting more than I had before. Please help.
