I just wanted to know if someone, or several people have asked me a question about my photo if i could respond to them during the challenge. I realize that would give myself away for the photo to the individual----so is that a no no and just wait until the challenge is over or can I answer them as long as I do not denouce to the website what my photo is?

I dont know if its a no no or not, technicaly speaking. Ive had people thank me for my comments on their pic while the voting was still going on. I have to say though I thought it was strange. Its probably up to you if you want to, if you think revealing youself will give too much away then I wouldnt, if the comments are simply how did you do that, Id wait. If they are questioning if its valid or how it meets the challenge I might write them back. |

The questions were more to get an understanding of what it was itself. |

I figure if someone has already voted and commented, then go for it. I don't mind if someone contacts me and I've done it on occasion too with a preface of "well, since you already voted and commented, blah blah blah..."

I have asked this question before. I was told by council that it is fine, as long as you know you are giving away your anonymity to the voter. Also, if they are bagged, you would have to wait till after the challenge. It is not highly recommended, and I would check profiles to make sure the voter is not against it, but when they ask a question it is fine to contact and answer if you feel strongly about it.

I look at the question and ask myself two things.
Is the question rhetorical (do they really expect an answer)?
Can it wait until after voting is done?
If the answer to either is yes, I don't respond during voting.
Follow your own thoughts on the matter, but be prepared for some negativity by those who don't want to be communicated with.
