It seems like I see a score (recording it in my anal retentive Excel spreadsheet), go away for a while, come back and see the score much lower (with the same votes). I then refresh and see a significantly higher score with a few more votes.
An example:
87 / 6.42
87 / 6.35
90 / 6.45
Seems really weird. I've never seen activity like this. Seems like a scripting bug or something...
Anybody else notice this? |

people just might be adjusting their votes.
i noticed earlier when voting that i saw the same images 2 or 3 times.

To honest I dunno, Since I only get to check my scores every hour. But especially in this Challenge it has changed radically between a vote or 2 with in that hour. So I dunno, take it for what it is..

I thought that too, but the falls are too big and then the refresh makes it seem like it wasn't real. To jump from 6.35 to 6.45 in 3 votes is almost impossible once you have near 100 votes. |

But consider that any number of other people who have already voted could have changed their vote on your photo up or down any amount, and anything is possible :)

I agree Konador, but I've noticed it 3 times now and that seems weird. Also one of those times was on the Mother challenge where voting is pretty slow and I have 200 votes. (I made a comment on it in the scores where I thought Palmetto_Pixels was messing with me).
I'm going on record to say I think something is weird... |

I received a comment without the number of votes changing. I didn't think that could happen either.
edit: nevermind - I wasn't thinking that someone who already voted could have gone back and commented. My bad.

When I vote I do it the following way;
I first vote for each photo as a
3-4, 5-6, 7-8, No more no less. 3-4 being the lowest then 5-6 being the middle ground and then 7-8 being the upper levels. after I do this I go through all the 6, 7 and 8's. I check the 6's and move them up as needed then the same with the 8's 9's and 10's. I always limit the 9's or 10's to a max of three in order to meet with the number of ribbons.
Concievably you could go from a 6 to a ten in a second. I just find it easier to get rid of all the fives and below right away and then work on the best of the best.
If I am out of line then let me know, but it seems to work best for me and my average vote given is at 5.60. It works for me. Don't know if it explains anything.

OK, try this one on. Just now I opened a browser with my home page. Both entries reported 0 comments. A refresh then showed the proper amount 10 and 26 comments.
I'm tellin' ya, something's weird. |

I see the other threads and the blaming it on a faulty router. I'm sure I was seeing this with the scores too yesterday... |
