I have two images that I'd like to try merging in photoshop for the fun of it. The first one is in infrared and the second is in color. Can someone tell me how to do this? I'm not good at layers but I must force myself to start using them.

Hello
Open both images, and make them the correct sizes. Drag one on to the other with the move tool (you can move the top image again) then open Layers (f7). You can change which image is on top and adjust the opacity for different effects. |

Open both, Control J on one to make the BG a layer, that you candrag an dro on the other one. If you hold the SHIFT key while dragging it will automatically center it when dropped. It will be on it's own layer - you can then adjust the opacity or fill and the blend mode for the effect you want.
