I took this shot of my son and everything that could possibly be wrong is, you name it, it's got it. Problem is I love his expression and am calling on all you photoshop experts to help me with this one. I can send the hi res original if anybody's up to the challenge. Please try to help me make something (anything) out of this. Thanks!

Excellent job on that picture and secondly, how could you use that shot for your profile picture? You are too much. Made me laugh a little not at you but with you.

Thanks, I'm good at making disasters look decent... prone to disasters myself.
I'm glad ya got a chuckle from the profile pic. That's the whole point. People need to laugh, it's good for the soul. So, if you're laughing at me or with me; it's all good.

15 seconds with Levels and Saturation...
It looks salvageable, but hard to say how much from the low res file. |

| Thanks fotomann - seemed I missed a lot with these shots the other night. And let's just say my son was not the most cooperative model, unless sticking out your tongue, crossing your eyes or flipping your momma off counts as being a good model. Hey, I could have used that last one in the "mother" challenge ! |

here's my version...auto levels, lots of hue/saturation tweaking, some dodging and burning, then i ran the Midnight Sepia action and sharpened.

here is my take on it:
PP: Crop, Levels, Reduce Noise, Sepia with Red Filter, then Stroke (for frame)
