We've all seen these men. They're considered one of the most respected of all public servant jobs. They're they're when our most precious valuables are in jeopardy, not our homes, or our stereos, or big screen TV & digital cameras....but our Families. And they're there to rescue them.
They were there when the Towers fell, when the trains derailed, they were there when the hillsides burned in California and when they burned in Australia.
They come by land, by sea and by air. They carry no firearms. Their only weapon an axe. Their target, any obstruction that prevents them from reaching their goal. Their goal....your children and their safety.
After reading about several fires which put DPC'ers in jeopardy. I think it might be a wonderful challenge to "honor" these men. Perhaps include all those who are rescuers. Be it Firemen, paramedics, or the Coast Guard. Take a photo that honors "emergency rescue workers". Those that are on first call...
I think, this should be a special challenge. With perhaps a bit longer open window than normal.
