<-------------- (see it doesn't say vote only) :)

Since I was planning on getting the new-for-me camera, I had sold my sony 707 to my sister for my niece's Christmas present. Come Christmas Eve, mine still had not arrived (due to no one's fault, except maybe USPS ;) ). Soooooooooo, I had to box my sony up and take it to my sister. :( No camera. My daughter's first Christmas. (I used nards656's, btw).

One week later, as we are leaving (late as usual) to go to a family get together, we pass the mailman. Turn around. Run up to his car. (That had to be scary for him). Already delivered. On your porch. WooHOO. Turn around go back home. Sure enough, there is the box, none the worse for wear.

So, now, I finally have a camera again. (ya know I went a whole week without one.)

AND, I can see the challenge descriptions. Life is good.

2006 is going to be an AWESOME year.

;)

Great news Karma! Glad it finally arrived :o) USPS seems to have been especially slow with several items in the last few weeks, guess the Christmas rush musta overwhelmed them...

nah, it wasn't the Christmas rush, it was a conspiracy against me. hahahah.

Yes, we are glad it arrived to. Everything was safe and sound -- packaged well. ;)

And it's not a late Christmas gift, it is 51 weeks early for next Christmas. hehehe.

It's on order -- but Fed-Ex decided to take a few days off. Something about being unable to drive straight this early in the new year, or something like that.

Do yourself a favor and never order anything over a long holiday weekend. The delivery update button is more addictive than the one here. :(

David

/edit: Should also mention that it's a Nikon D70 that Fed-Ex is delivering, with the US postal service handling the delivery of a 50mm f1.8D. The D70 is due Thursday, but it will probably be Monday before I can pick up the lens. Then I just have to get a CF card and I'm all set -- for a while anyway. ;)
